Getting Started
If you decide to stray away from everyday life and civilization to get your own food or take a weekend trip with your buddies to hunt for game, look no further, as now is the time! A couple of factors need to be considered before getting started with hunting, such as where you plan to hunt and having all the proper equipment and licenses. It would be best to remember that when you're hunting, you are subject to being stopped at any time by the San Andreas Parks & Wildlife (SAPW) members.
Hunting Licenses
Only San Andreas Parks & Wildlife officers can issue hunting licenses within San Andreas. Visit the SAPW substation at 630 Panorama Dr and ask a SAPW member for a hunting license. If you do not have a firearms license, you must ask the SAPW member for one since it's also needed to hunt legally. Once issued a license, you may visit any City Hall to get the physical card.
Hunting Store
To begin hunting, you'll want to go to the outdoor shop at 1011 Baytree Canyon Rd, where you'll walk into the shop and speak to the person dressed in wildlife attire. He sells weapons used for hunting, knives, and hunting bait.
Hunting
Hunting is legal everywhere that's stated in the State's Penal Code. It's the hunter's responsibility to be familiar with the laws of the land, as they can change at any time.
To begin hunting, head to a location you think will be best and place down bait in hopes of an animal getting it; you're more likely to get a bite if you put it somewhere where a lot of wildlife is present. When the bait is down, you'll move away to a distance where you can still watch the area around the bait. When an animal attempts to take a bite, take your shot. If you're successful can go up to the animal with a knife and use your Third Eye to slaughter it. You'll be given animal parts you can keep or sell for money.
You are may craft, cook or sell your animal parts. There is a seller in the county somewhere.
