To obtain a radio, visit a Digital Den store. Once you have a radio you can double-click it in your inventory to open the radio UI.
Type in a frequency number you'd like to connect to and hit the connect button. Note that some channels are locked down to certain jobs, and you must be on duty in order to join them (i.e., Gruppe6 & SADOT). The first person to connect to a frequency will be the "manager" and be able to manage the channel, such as kicking members or locking a channel.
Once connected to the radio, you should see the channel frequency on the bottom right of your screen. When you enable your Talk over Radio keybind it'll turn white, showing it's active.
There is a possibility that with some players the default keybind for Talk over Radio, L-ALT
, is clashing with other keybinds. If you notice that you're pushing L-ALT
and nothing is working please change your keybind to something else.
Due to current resource limitations, when you talk on the radio you will not be heard in-game via normal voice. While this is not required, we do suggest adding a second PTT keybind that matches the same keybind as your Talk over Radio keybind.
